I ( & 3 friends) had an exceptional stay on the island. Moat Lake is set in a stunning alpine landscape surrounded by mountains. The rustic cabin while not luxurious accommodation was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking, food storage, and sleeping. Our hosts Jamie and Clinton were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had the best experience. Their family history on the island and local knowledge, combined with the serene alpine atmosphere, made this one memorable getaway. Thank you!
Such a beautiful place. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Jamie and Clinton really care about making the stay at Moat Lake Cabin a special one. Whether you want to hike, fish, swim, boat, watch the stars, or just unwind in nature, this cabin has it all.

This is a one of a kind place to go! off grid in the heart of strathcona park mountains. The scenery is- you have to see it-words can not do it justice. truly great experience. So lucky that the Wood family shares this place with others.
