Most beautiful place on earth. Clinton and Jamie are wonderful hosts. This place is pure magic!
This is a one of a kind place to go! off grid in the heart of strathcona park mountains. The scenery is- you have to see it-words can not do it justice. truly great experience. So lucky that the Wood family shares this place with others.
An absolutely unforgettable experience. Waking up to a crystal clear lake surrounded by mountains, with complete peace and no one else around, was truly magical. I can’t speak highly enough about this special place or about Jamie and his family, who made the stay even more memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back and would wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to anyone who appreciates the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors.
A spot like no other. This place is a throw back in time, rustic setting on a pristine lake in the middle of the first provincial park in BC. About as close to heaven as you can get. No cell service, no roads, loudest noise is from the outboard motor on the very handy boat or the generator before bedtime. Don’t be expecting a 5 star all inclusive, but do expect to unwind in a tranquil environment with great hiking trails nearby to various mountain peaks with incredible views. Water so clear in the lake that you can watch the fish swim by your lure.
